As Creston’s bike shop we are proud to support the Creston Valley’s cycling and outdoor communities. While we are based in Creston we support folks on the East Shore & south in Bonners Ferry and the broader Kootenay region with quality equipment & service. We are active in the local cycling and business communities in promoting cycling, active transportation and recreation. We provide prizes to local fundraisers and community events. We also use our relations with suppliers to get additional support for community cycling projects. We share our time, expertise and resources for events. We are always looking for ways to contribute and collaborate - if you’ve got an awesome idea let us know!
At Summit Cycles we are committed to operating as sustainably as we can. Beyond cardboard recycling we work with Cresteramics to collect our other recyclables to ensure that as much pre-consumer waste as possible is diverted from landfills. Cresteramics provides recycling pick up at an affordable rate for businesses through their employment programming.
Our service department uses as many bio derived, non-toxic and biodegradable products as possible without compromising performance of our customer’s bicycles. Where we’re not able to use bio derived products we ensure that greases and oils are collected and properly disposed of.
Summit Cycles is also a drop off site for e-bike battery recycling run through Call2Recycle.
